Both boys have worked extremely hard in Literacy this week and produced excellent recounts. Mr. Hoban.

Today Year 6 learned all about the world of work by starting up companies. Kathryn from Wigan Education Business Partnership told the children how a company worked. After making six teams the children decided on company names. Teams learned how to make origami ducks and swans-not easy!! Finally they went to work making ducks and swans which they had to sell to a very fussy customer…ME! The team who made the most profit won. Thanks for a fantastic experience Kathryn. Mr. Hoban.

Outstanding result in a Maths SATs paper for Caitlin- you should be really proud of 95%. David has worked extremely hard in all subjects. Well done! Mr. Hoban.

World War 2 Day was fantastic! Mr. Graham came in and told the children all about his experiences growing up during World War 2. What a great start to a new topic. Thanks Mr. Graham I only hope I have your energy when I’m 84. Mr. Hoban.
